Benjamin Crawford was born in Cork in 1983. He graduated from the Crawford College of Art and Design in 2007 with a First Class Honors degree. Since graduating Ben has exhibited widely. He was also selected to tour with the RDS Student Exhibition in 2007.

His work revolves around an interest in creating bizarre spaces and imaginary landscapes peopled with symbols and characters relating to his life, Bens paintings are playful and his approach to painting combines printing college and drawing with oil sticks and crayons – as well as the more traditional painting techniques.
