Mum and Babies
The Blackbird Art Lab in the heart of the city is running a series of courses in the mornings especially for mothers. There is a carer on the premises to look after the little ones while Mum's get creative!
There are classes in Print, Watercolour and Oils available. The classes are designed to help mother's distress and take a little time for themselves and mix with like minded people.
The courses run for 6 weeks, the classes are 1hr 30mins and costs €150 per course, which includes your child being looked after and coffee during class.

 Children
5 - 7 years. This class will cover the following subjects. Colour mixing. Painting. Printing, 3D Construction works, Collage and Art Appreciation. The classes run continuously so you can join at any time and pay by the month or however many classes are left in the month you join.
8 -12 years. This stress buster class is designed to develop the child's self esteem regardless of their artistic abilities. The class is again designed to run in six-week blocks and covers the following, Painting, Print, Photography, Montage, Animation and Art Appreciation. The classes run continuously so you can join at any time and pay by the month or however many classes are left in the month you join.

Adults and Teenagers

Teenagers
This course covers the following subjects, Drawing, Painting, Printing, Animation including Comic and Manga. It is designed to produce work good enough to include in portfolios. Our aim is to provide a creative space where teenagers can develop their self-esteem and confidence. The classes run continuously so you can join at any time and pay by the month or however many classes are left in the month you join.


Adults
Oil Painting (Beginners and Advanced), Mixed Media, Life Drawing and Illustration, Print.
The Adult Classes begin in February but continue right through the year with classes running all the time.
